Modifying MWS reinforcement groups
Modifying elements using the Properties palette in the module(s): Precast Slab + Precast Wall + Structural Precast Elements
You can modify MWS reinforcement groups using the
Properties palette.
Right-clicking in the input area of the palette opens a shortcut menu where you can show and hide the displayed at the bottom of the palette.
In addition, you can add the currently selected area or parameter to the quick input list and switch to QuickInput, which provides a reduced number of parameters. There you can remove the currently selected area or parameter from the quick input list and return to Advanced input by selecting this mode on the shortcut menu.
To modify an MWS reinforcement group
- Click an element of the MWS reinforcement group and select MWS reinforcement group in the list box at the top in the
Properties palette
or
double-click an element of the MWS reinforcement group with the left mouse button.All the elements of the MWS reinforcement group are selected.

- You can use
Add or delete bars to add more reinforcing bar placements to the group or to remove them from the group. - You can use
Define direction of longitudinal bars to define the reference segment for the direction of the longitudinal bars and the basic segment for the cross bars. - You can use
Define base segment to define the basic segment for the cross bars. - You can use
Mesh Welding System Editor to start an editor you can use to edit the MWS reinforcement group. You can also change the height of the longitudinal bars by starting and closing the editor. - You can use
Ungroup reinforcement group to ungroup the placements.
- If necessary, change the attributes of the group.
- Press ESC to apply the changes.
Notes:
- You can use
Save as a favorite to save the settings and
Load favorite to read the settings back into the palette, where you can modify them. Click Favorite QuickSelect to select from the five favorites you have used most recently. - A wide range of special settings are provided in the

Catalogs module.
