3D circle

Tool(s): 3D Line

To draw a 3D circle

1. Click 3D Line (How).
   

   Activate 3D Line in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools 3D Modeling

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   3D Modeling

   • Configuration: Design Basic 3D Elements flyout
2. The 3D Line Context toolbar appears. Click 3D Circle.
3. To draw the circle, select one of the following options in the Input Options:
   • Circle based on center
     Define the circle based on the center point and radius.
   • Circle based on 2 points
     Define two points through which the circle is to pass.
   • Circle based on 2 points and radius/diameter.
     Click the points of the circle or the elements that are to be at a tangent to the circle.

4. Enter the start and end points of the arc. To draw a full circle, press ESC.

   Tip: You can undo the entries you have made step by step by clicking Back in the Input Options.

   Allplan creates the arc.
