Palette for Window/Door SmartPart, Elements + Window SmartParts + Door SmartParts

You can select the frame type and enter its dimensions. In addition, you can specify how the frame looks in 3D.

Frame

Shape

Select a frame type: Block frame, Window casing, Closed frame, Angle frame

Width - left / right

You can enter the width of the frame on the left and right.

Width - top / bottom

You can enter the width of the frame at the top and bottom.

Depth (only with block frame and closed frame)

You can enter the depth of the frame.

Alignment Centered, Flush with outside, Flush with inside (only with block frame in window casing)

You can specify the position of the frame in relation to the opening in the wall. When set to flush with outside/inside, the outer/inner edge of the frame is flush with the edge of the wall. When set to centered, the frame is placed in the middle of the opening depth so that it is centered.

Offset (only with block frame in window casing)

The drop-in point of the frame, which is defined along with the Alignment parameter, is moved by the offset value you enter here.

Position of frame (except block frame)

Entire opening: the frame fills out the entire wall thickness.

Reveal element: the frame is the same thickness as the reveal.

Casing width (only with closed frame and angle frame)

You can enter the width of the casing.

Casing depth (only with closed frame)

You can enter the depth of the casing.

Turn around (only with angle frame)

You can change the position of the frame from the inside of the opening to the outside and vice versa.

Color

You can specify the color for the frame in 3D.

Surface

Click the button to select a surface file (SURF file format, Allplan surface file). Click to switch off surfaces.
