Using the Special Settings dialog box, you can make adjustments for the output device. These are set by entering control sequences on the printer/large-format printer.
To do this, you must be logged in as the administrator or as a user with administrator privileges.

General

Line length

Typical: no line feed

250: a line feed control character is inserted after maximum 250 characters

70: a line feed control character is inserted after maximum 70 characters

Initialize device

You can change the initialization sequences sent to the output device before and after the print data. You can only make this entry when you are using Allplan vector drivers.

Startinit / Endinit

This is where you can enter your own control sequence. To configure the program to insert line breaks in the control character sequences, you need to enter [13][10]. Please note that you must use square brackets.

Control character sequences only become effective when you activate them.

Activate

Use this to specify which device initialization sequences apply and to define the sequence in which they are sent. We recommend using the CAD setting for the start initialization if you want to use your own control sequences.

The following section shows how to select paper rolls. In these examples, a HPGL2_DESIGNJET is used for the output device and the layout is printed out on a OCE printer or on a similar device.

Please ask the manufacturer of the large-format printer for the exact control character sequences.

Reset device

Copy original setting resets all settings to their defaults.

Device-specific default values

Shows the current device’s default settings. You can change these settings if you need (you cannot change the settings displayed in reverse video)
