Exchange favorite 16: import site plan with offset

You can use the exchange favorites 16 and 17 to import cadastral plans and survey data with large coordinates to an empty drawing file.

The exchange favorite 16 is useful if absolute coordinate values are required and the data is to be exported again. Possible applications are urban planning and landscape architecture.

During import a corresponding project offset is defined and the imported data is moved near the global point. The measuring tools return the real coordinates.

Application	This exchange favorite can only be used in drawing file edit mode.
Import	AutoCAD model space -> Allplan drawing file
Export	This exchange favorite is not suitable for exporting data.
Result	One drawing file in which the data with large coordinates is moved to the global point; a project offset is set.
Drawing file only	All the elements in the file being imported are placed in the current drawing file; the layers are retained.

Tip: Import the data to an empty drawing file. It is best to use a new project, as the project offset also affects existing elements.

Note: If an offset has already been defined in the project, you cannot use exchange favorite 16.

Note: The exchange favorites 16 and 17 can only be used to import data with large coordinates. The data must be at least 5,000 m from the global point. Otherwise, the Adjust center of gravity to option is not available.
