Placing measured values as paragraph text

You can place measured values as paragraph text in the workspace (only possible if you have not selected the measurement tool while another tool is active).

To place measured values as paragraph text in the workspace

1. Click Measure (How).
   

   Activate Measure in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Tools

   • Keyboard: Ctrl+Alt+M

   • Toolbar: Standard
2. Measure an element (a line, for example).
3. In the Measured values dialog box, click Place measured values as paragraph text in document.

   All values and texts listed in the Measured values dialog box are attached to the crosshairs.

   Note: The text parameters you selected last for a text tool, such as Horizontal Text, are used for the paragraph text.

4. Place the paragraph text in the workspace.
