Tool(s): Concrete Component
The parameters of the concrete components are self-explanatory, being illustrated with graphics. However, there are some issues to bear in mind when you work with concrete components.
General - reinforcement standard, concrete grade
When you start this tool, Allplan automatically takes the settings from the Options, but you can change them at any time. When you choose a different reinforcement standard, Allplan automatically sets the appropriate default concrete grade.
General - steel grade
You can choose from the bar cross-section catalogs of the cross-section catalog set in the Defaults (Tools menu).
Sleeve foundation - foundation type
When the foundation type is set to Rough, the stirrups specified are created in the upper third of the sleeve; when set to Smooth, they are additionally created in the lower third of the sleeve.
Sleeve foundation - reinforcement area required, bar spacing
If the required reinforcement area is given (you have imported the component from the FRILO Software GmbH program), Allplan calculates the bar spacing based on the diameter selected. To change the bar spacing, you need to set the required reinforcement area to "zero".
Column - open stirrups
The number of open stirrups depends on the number of longitudinal reinforcing bars.
Corbel - reinforcement
Using Number of loop rows, you can specify how many loops are created on top of each other at the spacing specified. Using Number of loops per row, you can specify how many loops are created beside each other.
Reinforcement - hook length, overlap length
The values proposed for the hook length and overlap length are taken from the settings for reinforcement standard, concrete grade and bar diameter. When a parameter changes, Allplan will always enter these proposed values.
Note: There is a separator between the text and the box for entering the value. When you point to this area, the cursor changes to a double-headed arrow. Press and hold down the left mouse button and drag the separator to a new position.
