Default pen and color for display of pattern on/off
Pattern definition
You can use the
Default Pen and Color for Display of Pattern on/off tool to define whether the pattern is created with the pen and color set here in the pattern defaults or with the current settings on the Format toolbar. For more information, see Settings defining how elements are displayed on screen.
Tip: When you include fills in pattern definitions, you should enable this option.
- When you enable
Default Pen and Color for Display of Pattern on/off, the pattern is drawn using the line widths and colors with which it was created, regardless of the settings on the Format toolbar. This means you can use a variety of pen widths in a single pattern.
Note: This option is enabled for all Allplan default patterns. - When you disable
Default Pen and Color for Display of Pattern on/off, the pattern is drawn using the line widths and colors set on the Format toolbar, regardless of the settings made in the pattern defaults and the option.
