Using attributes

You can apply filters to find projects, drawing files, filesets and layouts that match specific conditions. Only the objects that match the filter criteria are then presented in the dialog box for selection.

You can access the Filter dialog box from various places in the program, for example, from the New Project, Open Project or Open on a Project-Specific Basis dialog box. You can tell whether a filter is applied by the color of the icon (using the project filter as an example)

• icon highlighted in blue: a filter is active; only the elements that match the filter criteria are presented in the dialog box.
• icon normal (transparent): a filter is not active; all elements are displayed in the dialog box.
