SmartPart XML export

You can use SmartPart XML Export to export the parameters of a SmartPart to an XML file (*.smx). This XML file can be edited in an external program. Using SmartPart XML Import you can re-import the modified parameters to the SmartPart.

To export the parameters of a SmartPart to an XML file

1. Click SmartPart XML Export (How).
   

   Activate SmartPart XML Export in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Tools, Customize – Additional tools with icon category
2. Select the SmartPart whose parameters you want to export.
3. Select the parameters to be exported in the dialog box.
4. Specify the folder and name for the XML file and click OK.
