Specifying defaults for local file storage and export

• ATTENTION!
  Loading saved settings overwrites the current settings. You are thus advised to save the current settings in a favorite file if you want to use them at a later time.

To load the defaults for local file storage and export from a favorite file

• Allplan Exchange dialog box (How) is open.
  

  Activate the Allplan Exchange dialog box in one of the following ways

  • The Layout module is open.

  • Menu bar: Create Layout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

  • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution
  • Palette: Tools Basic family Create area Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution

1. In the border of the Allplan Exchange dialog box, click Settings at bottom left.

   The Settings dialog box appears.

2. In the border of the Settings dialog box, click Load favorite at bottom left.

   The Open dialog box appears.

3. Select the folder with the favorite file you want to retrieve in the folder structure on the left.
4. Select the appropriate favorite file in the list on the right and click Open.

   The Import settings from favorite dialog box opens.

5. Select the File storage and export option. Deactivate the categories for which you do not want to load the settings from the favorite file.
6. Click OK.
7. Click OK to close the Settings dialog box.
