'General' tab

Name:
User-defined name, which is displayed in the list box of wall element design when you define connections for layers using connecting elements.
Description:
User-defined name that can be included in labels for element plans or lists/schedules (not yet implemented).
Thickness:
You can specify whether you want to use a specific, fixed wall thickness (Fixed value) or a variable thickness (Region) .
Permissible rate of rise:
Value for the permissible rate of rise, which can serve as a boundary condition. The program can take this value into account when displaying the available connecting elements.
'Fixture' tab
Fixture for connecting element
You can specify whether the fixture is taken from the Allplan office path, a Manufacturer catalog or an Article catalog.
Fixture
Specify the File and Entry if you have selected the Allplan office path for the fixture of the connecting element.
Manufacturer catalog
Specify a manufacturer catalog or a user catalog if you have selected the Manufacturer catalog or Article catalog option for the fixture of the connecting element. You need to enter a catalog that is available in Allplan in the Manufacturer box. So that you can differentiate between manufacturer catalogs and user catalogs, they are indicated by different symbols. Click to remove the selected catalog. You can use the Class/subclass and Article boxes to specify the catalogs further.
'Distribution' tab
Edge offsets
You can define the minimum and maximum offsets to the element sides, to the top level and the bottom level and to the other edges. In addition, you can define the minimum offset to openings.
Axis offsets
You can define the minimum and maximum axis offsets in the horizontal and vertical directions.
Minimum number
You can specify the minimum number of fixtures per square meter.

Assignment of the individual entries to the relevant wall types..
The selected entry applies to the selected wall types, which are highlighted in blue. If no wall type is selected, the entry is valid for all the wall types.
'->Fact.' tab
Assignment of the individual entries to the relevant factories.
The selected entry is applicable to the selected factories. If no factory is selected, the entry is valid for all the factories.
