Modifying parameters of individual pattern lines

To modify the properties of individual pattern lines

1. Double-click the pattern line with the left mouse button.

   Or

   Open the shortcut menu of the pattern line and click Properties.

   The Properties palette is displayed.

   Note: Double-clicking the pattern line while holding down the SHIFT key opens the Pattern Line dialog box.

2. Change the parameters of the pattern line in the Pattern line properties area.

   Tip: Use the information given in the Description area at the bottom of the palette, where you can see a short description of the selected parameter. When you change the Height and Width of a pattern, this area shows the corresponding limiting values. If you enter a value that is not permitted, the program proposes the next possible value.

   Tip: You can use the Pattern line check box in the Element area to switch the pattern line property on and off.

3. Click in the workspace to apply the changes.
