Select a single element

Click element.

Select several elements within a selection window

Click in the workspace, press and hold down the mouse button and open a selection rectangle.

Select additional elements

Press and hold down the CTRL key and click the additional element.

Select all elements in the current document and in files open in edit mode

Press CTRL+A.
