Changing the drawing file status based on elements

You can use Change Drawing File Status to change the status of the drawing file that contains the selected element. At the same time you can also change the status of the other drawing files that are open.

To change the drawing file status using an element's shortcut menu

1. Click an element with the right mouse button and select Change Drawing File Status on the shortcut menu.

   The Change Drawing File Status dialog box appears.
   The icon representing the status of the drawing file with the selected element appears pressed in.

2. Select the required drawing file status in the Change Drawing File Status dialog box.

   The drawing file status changes.

   Note: Click to reset the drawing file status to its original state.

To change the drawing file status using a selected element

1. Click Change Drawing File Status (How).
   

   Activate Change Drawing File Status in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: File

   • Toolbar: Special

   The Change Drawing File Status dialog box appears.

2. Select the required drawing file status in the Change Drawing File Status dialog box.
3. Click the desired element.

   The drawing file status changes.

   Note: Click to reset the drawing file status to its original state.
