Bitmaps

This area lists the bitmaps saved in the SmartPart. The bitmaps are listed in the following form:
NAME.EXT XXX x YYY
XXX and YYY indicate the size of the bitmap in pixels. (For TIF files, it is always 0 x 0.)

Note: Please check the file size of the bitmaps as a SmartPart must not exceed 4 MB. Make sure that the size of the bitmaps saved matches the size required in the dialog boxes. You can also save large bitmaps in the ...\Std\SmartParts\Bitmaps folder. Bitmaps in this folder are found and displayed by SmartParts.

Open Bitmap

You can use this tool to add a bitmap to the resources. The 'Open file' dialog box appears and you can select the bitmap you need.

The following file formats are supported:
- PNG files (*.png), default setting
- JPEG files (*.jpg)
- TIF files (*.tif)
- GIF files (*.gif)
- BMP files (*.bmp)

Delete Bitmap

This deletes the bitmap currently selected in the list.

Import Bitmaps

When you select this tool, the global bitmap resources used in the script are saved locally in the SmartPart.

Export Bitmaps

The local bitmap resources saved in the SmartPart are copied to the \SmartParts\Bitmaps folder of the current project.

Preview

The bitmap currently selected in the list is displayed.

Objects

This area lists the objects (2D or 3D) saved in the SmartPart. The objects are listed in the following form:
XX – YYY objects
XX indicates the resource index, and YYY represents the number of objects included.
When you select an entry, the associated objects are displayed in the preview.

2D Objects

When you select this button, only the 2D objects are listed.

3D Objects

When you select this button, only the 3D objects are listed.

Match Object

You can match a 2D or 3D object directly from Allplan.
Valid objects include:
2D: lines, circles, splines
3D: 3D object

Delete Object

This deletes the object currently selected in the list.

Localized strings

This table lists all the strings to be localized.

Type

You can specify which type of text is displayed in the table. You can choose between text strings or material strings.

Refresh String Table

When you click this icon, the strings to be localized are extracted from the SmartPart and entered in the table. In this process, all the scripts are checked for text in 'quotation marks'. The name of the SmartPart and the names of the parameters as well as their current values are also extracted.

Delete String

This deletes the string currently selected in the table.

Language

You can select a language that applies to the following actions:
Add Language
Delete Language

Add Language

This adds the language currently selected in Language.

Delete Language

This removes the language currently selected in Language.

Load String Table

This loads the string table from a *.smr file.

Save String Table

This saves the string table to a *.smr file. You can edit the string table using an XML editor.
