Mesh edge marks

Module(s): Mesh Reinforcement

You can use the Mesh Edge Marks tool to show the positions of longitudinal and cross bars in meshes at a later stage. You cannot use this tool to label MWS meshes.

To show the bars in a mesh

1. Click Mesh Edge Marks (How).
   

   Activate Mesh End Marks in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Mesh Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Mesh Reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Display flyout
2. Select a mesh.
3. Specify in the Input options whether the longitudinal bars in the mesh are to be displayed at bottom or top.
4. Click the edge of the mesh where the mark is to be placed (if you failed to identify the edge when you selected the mesh).
5. Specify the drop-in point.
   

Note: When you activate the Show Single Bars tool, the marking is lost.
