Dimensioning overlap

Module(s): Mesh Reinforcement

You can use the Dimension Overlap tool to display the value by which two meshes overlap. You cannot use this tool to dimension the overlap of MWS meshes.

To determine the value by which two meshes overlap

1. Click Dimension Overlap (How).
   

   Activate Dimension Overlap in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Mesh Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Mesh Reinforcement

   • Configuration: Engineering Display flyout
2. Click the first mesh side to be dimensioned.
3. Click the second mesh side to be dimensioned.
   If the sides to be dimensioned are not parallel to each other, a perpendicular line is dropped from the point clicked on the first side to the second side. The distance between these is returned as the overlap value.
