New mark number

Module(s): Bar Reinforcement + Mesh Reinforcement + BAMTEC

You can use the New Mark Number tool to assign a new mark number to selected bars, meshes or placements. If you select bars within a placement, the placement is resolved and several placements are created.

To selectively assign new mark numbers

1. Click New Mark Number (How).
   

   Activate New Mark Number in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Engineering Bar Reinforcement/Mesh Reinforcement/BAMTEC

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

   Mesh Reinforcement

   BAMTEC

   • Configuration: Engineering Engineering Modify flyout
2. Select the reinforcement elements to be assigned a new mark number.
3. Enter the new number or confirm the value proposed by the system (i.e. the next available one).
   The largest possible mark number is 9999.
   

Note: When you create new mark numbers, layer marking may be lost. To recreate it, you can use the Label or Dimension Line, Label tools.
