Label View

Module(s): Shell

You can use the Label View tool to add text to a view. The text is associated with the view so that any modifications you make to the view (move, copy, delete, etc.) will affect it, too.

To add text to views

1. Click Label View (How).
   

   Activate Label View in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Views, Details Shell

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Shell

2. Enter the label text and confirm your entry.
   You can also define text settings while you are entering the text.
3. Click the view you want to label.
4. Place the text. You can also enter an angle of rotation for the text.
