Defining parameters

Modifying mark and hook of a mesh bar mark + Modifying mesh shapes placed

You can enter, select, calculate or match parameter values. Use the check boxes to define optional parameters.

Entry

You can see which boxes are pure data entry boxes: the column on the right does not include any additional icons.

Selection

Click to open a list box. For some parameters you can enter any value directly whereas selection of other parameters is limited to the values in the list box.
You can select values by entering the first letter without having to open the list box. If, for example, the mesh type is set to Q188A, entering the letter R selects the mesh type R188A. When you enter R again, the mesh type is set to R257A.

Double-clicking the data entry box activates the next higher value of the list box.

Additional dialog box

When modifying marks, you can define parameters in an additional dialog box by clicking in the Number box. You cannot enter the value directly in the palette.

Match

You can use the shortcut menu to cut out, copy, paste and delete selected values. These actions can also be undone using the shortcut menu.

Illegal values

Illegal values are highlighted in red.
