FF reinforcement

FF stands for Formwork Finder. This functionality is provided in the Bar Reinforcement and Mesh Reinforcement modules.

The Enter tool is used to define the shape and position on a reinforcement mark basis – the reinforcement is defined in dialog boxes and by subsequently clicking mandatory points. With the Bar Shape and Mesh Shape tools, however, the cursor automatically recognizes a cross-section and places the reinforcement in the correct position (provided Expand to adapt to edges is selected in the input options. Automatic depth-wise placement is possible when the bending shape is placed immediately.
In FF Components the reinforcement can consist of several marks. Automatic depth-wise placement is also possible in a 3D shell..
