Importing LFA files

Allplan layer favorites are saved as LFA files. They contain the layer selection and the layer visibility settings. This way, you can quickly access specific visibility settings or use the layer settings of planning partners.

To import LFA files

1. Download the file.
2. Decompress the file and save it in any folder on your computer.

   Tip: It makes sense to use the same folder for data of the same format.

3. Start Allplan 2016.
4. On the Format menu, click Select, Set Layers.
5. Click Open favorite file.
6. Select the folder and the file you have downloaded and click Open to confirm.

   The layer setting in the Current status area changes immediately.

Saving and exporting LFA files

You can save the current layer setting as a favorite file in *.lfa format by clicking in the Layer dialog box, Select Layer/visibility tab.
