Create rotary

Module(s): Rotary

You can use the Create Rotary tool to create a first draft of a rotary or to modify the geometry of a rotary you have already created and placed.

To create a rotary

1. Click Create Rotary (How).
   

   Activate Create Rotary in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Road Details Rotary

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Rotary

2. Click in the workspace to place the center of the rotary. You can also click an existing circle or its center.
   Make sure that you do not click the circle near to a point. If you do, the program will snap to this point and use it for the center of the new rotary.
3. Specify the rotary’s parameters.
4. Select the General tab and click Apply to confirm the settings.
   

To modify a rotary

1. Click Create Rotary (How).
2. Click an existing smart rotary symbol.
   Make sure that you do not click the smart rotary symbol near to a point. If you do, the program will snap to this point and use it for the center of the new rotary.
3. Modify the rotary’s parameters.
4. Select the General tab and click Apply to confirm the settings.
