Hiding a stair section

Tool(s): Section in Plan + Modify Stair

You cannot use Delete to remove a stair section in plan. To do this, use Modify Stair or Properties on the stair's shortcut menu.

To hide a stair section

1. Click Modify Stair (How).
   

   Activate Modify Stair in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Architecture Stairs

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Stairs

   • Configuration: Architecture Stairs flyout
2. Click the stair’s line of travel whose section you want to hide.
3. Do not make any changes. Click Close.
4. Clear the Restore section in plan check box and confirm the following prompt by clicking Yes.

   The stair section is hidden. The changes to the stair are saved.
