Setbacks

You can use the
Setbacks tool to define setbacks.
To determine the setbacks of a building
- Click
Setbacks (How). - Switch to
3 Viewports (How). - Click the building.
- Click the first and second point of the roof edge.
In isometric view, click the point where the eaves and the wall intersect and click the ridge point.

- Click the second point for the setbacks.
In plan, click the opposite wall corner
A 2nd point for setbacks
- Specify the side to which the setbacks are to be applied.

D Side
- The system determines the following values at the gable end:
Wall height 1: H1 Wa
Wall height 2: H2 Wa
Height of gable: H Gab
Angle of gable: A GAb - Define the .
- Click OK to apply your settings.
The system determines the following values on the eaves side:
Wall height 1: H1 Wa
Wall height 2: H2 Wa
Height of roof: H Roof
Angle of roof: A Roof.
- Repeat steps 4 through 9 to define more areas.
- Press ESC to finish.
