Activate Profile Section

Digital Terrain Model

You can use the Activate Profile Section tool to create a profile section based on existing profiles.

To place a profile section

1. Click Activate Profile Section (How).
   

   Activate Activate Profile Section in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Terrain Digital Terrain Model

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Digital Terrain Model

   • Configuration: Landscaping/Urban Planning Digital Terrain Model flyout
2. Click the profile for which you wish to create a section.
   You can also select several profiles at once by enclosing them in a selection rectangle with the middle mouse button. The profiles will then be merged in a single section.
3. On the Context toolbar, set parameter for the profile section.
4. Click in the workspace to position the profile section.
