Depending on the setting of this option, the box that encloses profile walls and beams with any cross-section is (not) displayed as construction lines.

Intersection of downstand beam with wall: Exact penetration

Profile walls always intersect other walls.

Intersection of downstand beam with wall: Rectangular recess

Beam and wall intersect or a rectangular recess is created.
