Options, associative views, labels

You can specify how dimensions are displayed. You can make separate settings for point placements, bar placements and polygonal bar placements. Depending on the number of pieces, two different display types are available for each placement.

Display as

You can select Dimension line or Comb. When you select Dimension line, the settings you make for Dimension line text and Bar marker are used.

When you select this option, a symbol in the dimension line indicates the position of the bars. The symbol is displayed, regardless of whether you place the dimension line inside or outside the placement.

When you have selected Dimension line, you can choose between three types of dimension text:

• Number of pieces
• Number+offset
• Dimension text

Select None if you do not want to display dimension line text.

Display type for up to ... bars

The general display type is only used when the number of bars that are displayed exceeds the number you specify here. Otherwise, Allplan uses the display type you select to the right of this box.
