Update dimensions automatically

You can specify whether dimensions are to update automatically when you modify views and sections.

Transfer 3D components automatically to sections

You can specify whether Allplan is to automatically transfer 3D components to new sections and to sections you have already created. You can use the Remove from View tool to remove these components from the sections at any time.
Note that Allplan transfers only the 3D components you create within or move to the clipping area or that become part of the section due to modifications to the clipping area. When you create a section, Allplan takes into account all 3D components within the clipping area, even if you have not selected them. Please note that this does not apply to views. Allplan does not automatically transfer 3D components to views.

When this option is not selected, you need to add new 3D components or 3D components you moved to the clipping area to views and sections manually using the Add to View tool.

Display global coordinate system in all views

Select this option to display the global coordinate system in views and sections.

General note: When you work with drawing files, Allplan always creates the views of elements across drawing files. This means that all associative views and sections are in the current drawing file. If the model data and the views or sections are in different drawing files, Allplan creates references between the drawing files. You can modify views or sections only if the drawing file with the relevant element is current or open in edit mode.
