Define, modify reveal

Module(s): Special: Walls, Openings, Components

You can use the Define, Modify Reveal tool to define or modify reveals. Facing on the right and left is taken into account.

To define or modify a reveal

1. Click Define, Modify Reveal (How).
   

   Activate Define, Modify Reveal in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Change Architecture Special: Walls, Openings, Components

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Special: Walls, Openings, Components

   • Configuration: Architecture Architectural Openings flyout
2. On the Define, Modify Reveal Context toolbar, set parameters for the reveal.
3. Select the objects to be assigned these settings.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a region, use the left mouse button to open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select
   • To include all the elements in the current document, click All in the Input options or press CTRL+A. Please note that this option is not available for all tools.

   When selecting elements, you can use the Filter Assistant to apply a filter based on element types and/or properties. For more information, see Filter Assistant.

   Tip: You can use Find Elements in the Input options to enter criteria for finding rooms.

4. Click Apply or right click in the workspace to start the operation.
