Profile walls

You can use the Profile Wall tool to draw profile walls; in other words, single-tier walls with any cross-section.

To draw straight profile walls

• A custom wall cross-section requires a 2D drawing of a true-to-scale cross-section, which is saved as a symbol.

1. Click Profile Wall (How).
   

   Activate Profile Wall in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Architecture Special: Walls, Openings, Components

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Special: Walls, Openings, Components

2. If you want, you can now modify the profile wall parameters.
   The Context toolbar provides several options.
   

   • Click Properties to set the parameters in a dialog box.
   • Click Match Properties to copy the settings form an existing element.
   • Click Load favorite to select saved parameter combinations.
3. On the Profile Wall Context toolbar, select a wall type:
   • Straight profile wall
   • Rectangular profile wall
   • Polygonal profile wall (inscribed)
   • Polygonal profile wall (circumscribed)
