Filtering precast elements

Filter Assistant

Before you select elements by clicking them or opening a selection window, you can set one or more filters. Only the elements that match the filter criteria entered are then selected.

To filter by precast element

1. After you have selected a tool for modifying elements ( Move or Transfer Elements, for example), click Filter by Precast Element on the Filter Assistant toolbar.
2. You can select one or more filter options in the Precast Element Filter dialog box.
   You can use to match an element' by clicking and/ or specify whether the criterion has to be fulfilled (=) or not (<>).
3. Select the elements by clicking them or opening a selection window.

   Only the elements that match the specified filter criteria are selected.
   

Note: The filters for secondary bars and meshes also find the bars and meshes created with the modules in the engineering family. You cannot filter bars, girders and meshes of the basic reinforcement as these elements are generated again every time you update the data. It would therefore be senseless to copy or delete them.
