Delete image

Module(s): Scan

You can use the Delete Image tool to delete scanned image files from the hard disk.

To delete a scanned image file

1. Click Delete Image (How).
   

   Activate Delete Image in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Bonus Tools Scan

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Scan

2. Select the file to be deleted (irrevocably) and click Open.

   If the image is linked, the program will display a list of the drawing files with which it is linked.

3. When the program prompts for additional confirmation, click Yes to delete the file.

Note: Scanned image files should only be deleted when the image is not associated with any drawing file. You can use Clear Link to clear any links to drawing file.
