Joining shaped fixture with line

You can use the Join Shaped Fixture with Line tool to connect a shaped fixture to a line.

To join a shaped fixture with a line

1. Click Join Shaped Fixture with Line (How) in the Fixtures module
   Or:
   Click Fixtures (How) in the Precast Slab or Precast Wall module and select Join Shaped Fixture with Line on the context toolbar.
   

   Activate Fixtures in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Precast Floor/Precast Wall/Structural Precast Units

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Precast Floor

   Precast Wall

   Structural Precast Units

   

   Activate Join Shaped Fixture with Line in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Bonus Tools Fixtures

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Fixtures

2. Click the shaped fixture you want to join with a line.
3. Click the 2D line. The shaped fixture is lengthened or shortened as far as this line.
