Labeling fixtures

Tool(s): Fixtures for precast elements

You can use the Label Fixture tool to label fixtures you have already placed in a document.

To label a fixture (later)

1. Click Label Fixture (How) in the Fixtures module
   Or:
   Click Fixtures (How) in the Precast Slab or Precast Wall module and select Label Fixture on the context toolbar.
   

   Activate Fixtures in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Precast Factories Precast Floor/Precast Wall/Structural Precast Units

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Precast Floor

   Precast Wall

   Structural Precast Units

   

   Activate Label Fixture in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools Fixtures

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Fixtures

2. Use the input options to specify whether you want to create plan text for an entire group or for parts thereof.
   This is only important for fixture groups.
3. Click the fixture or fixture group you want to label.
4. If a plan text is not defined for the fixture clicked, you can now enter text in the dialog line.
   The program proposes the element name (this is not the name you specified when you saved the fixture).
5. Specify the text parameters.
6. Place the text.
   

Note: The fixture label is always on the same layer as the linear fixture or surface fixture or as the admin element of the symbol fixture.
