Reassigning a pen thickness

To reassign the proposed pen thickness

1. On the Tools menu, click Defaults.
2. Click Pen Thickness + Format QuicktSelect.

   Note: The You are modifying the settings in the office path message indicates that you are about to change the settings of the office standard. Any changes you make will alter all office-specific projects that use the relevant pen thickness.

   Note: When you activate this tool from an NDW file, Allplan only displays the thickness settings available in this NDW file. When you activate this tool from a drawing file or layout, Allplan displays the thickness settings available in the office or project.

   

   NDW is the abbreviation for an Allplan DraWing File. You can enter any name for an NDW-format file and save it to any folder (as opposed to a drawing file that always gets the name tb00????.ndw (???? = drawing file number) and that is always saved to the project folder).

3. Alter the thickness of the individual pen numbers in the Pen Definition dialog box.

   Note: Assignments between line widths and pens are saved and managed on a project-specific or office-specific basis. Assignments between line colors and pens are user-specific (when Workgroup Manager is installed) or workstation-specific (when Workgroup Manager is not installed).
