Defining legends

Module(s): Templates: Reports, Legends, Labels

After you have defined the layout for the legend and its cells, you can assign them to the various legend regions.

Every legend must have at least one row.

To define a legend

1. Click Define Legend (How).
   

   Activate Define Legend in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools Templates: Reports, Legends, Labels

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Templates: Reports, Legends, Labels

2. The following options are presented on the Define Legend Context toolbar:
   

   Button	Meaning
   Type	Define legend type When working with the architectural modules, you require the following list types: Architecture, FSpace, Quantity and SubList Architecture.
   Select	Selection criterion
   Header	Header Appears on each page in the legend.
   Row	Define row Rows serve to convey information in subsequent analyses.
   Sub Tl	Define subtotal Cells that have been defined using a formula may be used for a sub-total.
   Total	Define total A final total is entered under the legend created last.
   Sub Ls	Add Sub-List (only available when rows have already been defined); List associated with a hierarchically superior list (in Allplan).
   Lock	Save legend

3. On the Define Legend Context toolbar, click Lock to save the legend.
