Using prototype files

To export data using a prototype file

1. Click Export (How).
   

   Activate Export in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: File Export

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Interfaces

2. In the Export dialog box, click Options....
3. Open the AutoCAD specific tab and select the file you want to use in the Prototype file area.
4. Click OK to close the Options dialog box and click Save in the Save as dialog box.
5. In the Export dialog box, click Modify.
6. For example, the layer names of the prototype file in the destination system are now displayed in the Configuration for Conversion dialog box, Layers tab. Click OK to close the dialog box.
