Creating and saving your own favorites for exchanging data

Using favorites for exchange

All the settings you make in the Options dialog box can be saved in a favorite for exchange (*.nth) and retrieved when needed. These favorites, which can be used for exchanging data, can include advanced settings, AutoCAD-specific settings etc..

To create and save your own exchange favorites

1. Click Export (How) and then Options.
   

   Activate Export in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: File Export

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Interfaces

2. If you want to use one of the favorites that come with Allplan as a template, select it in the General Settings tab.
3. Set the parameters on the individual tabs as you need.
4. Click Info… in the General Settings tab.

   You can enter information on the favorite you are creating.

5. Click Save as... in the General Settings tab.
6. Select the folder where to save the exchange favorite and enter a name.
