Drawing facades

To draw a facade

1. Click Facade (How).
   

   Activate Facade in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Architecture Basic: Walls, Openings, Components

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Basic: walls, openings, components

   • Configuration: Architecture Architectural Openings flyout
2. Click Scheme settings.
3. Select the scheme you want to use and confirm the dialog box.

   Or

4. Click Subdivision settings.
5. Specify the division style by entering a new value for Subdivision or Offset.

   Or
   Click Reset to use the default values.

6. Click Object definitions.
7. Select a facade style (see Loading facade objects) and click OK to close,

   and/or

   Click Match facade style to use the style of an existing facade.

   Tip: Press ALT+V to show and hide the subdivision. This way you can enter points quickly. Otherwise, navigation with the mouse may be slow as refreshing the preview takes some time.

8. Draw the facade by clicking the points of the path.
9. If you click an incorrect point, select Undo point. This deletes the point you entered last.
10. To start a new curve, click Finish curve. This completes the current curve with the properties displayed.

    Note: You can change the Curve type and Height or Angle at any time until you click .

11. Press ESC to finish.
