Modifying the layout structure

Move the contents of a layout into an empty layout

1. Drag and drop the relevant layout onto an empty layout or use Cut and Paste on the shortcut menu.
2. To actually move the contents of the layout, click Yes at the confirmation prompt.

Copy the contents of a layout into an empty layout

• Press CTRL and drag and drop the relevant layout onto an empty layout or use Copy and Paste on the shortcut menu.

Move layouts/linked layouts to a different structural level

• Drag and drop the relevant layout/linked layout onto the structural level or use Cut and Paste under... on the shortcut menu.

Copy layouts to a different structural level

1. Press CTRL and drag and drop the relevant layout onto the structural level or use Copy and Paste under... on the shortcut menu.
2. Specify the layout number at which Allplan is to start to add the copied layouts to the new structural level.

Copy linked layouts to a different structural level

• Press CTRL and drag and drop the relevant linked layout onto the structural level or use Copy and Paste under... on the shortcut menu.

Move structural level under a different structural level

• Drag and drop the relevant structural level onto the other structural level or use Cut and Paste under... on the shortcut menu.

Move structural level after a different structural level

• Press ALT and drag and drop the relevant structural level onto the other structural level or use Cut and Paste after... on the shortcut menu.

Insert new structural level

• On the shortcut menu of a structural level
• Insert structural level on the menu.
  If the project node, the All layouts folder or a layout is selected when you click this button, Allplan creates the new structural level at the beginning of the layout structure under the project node. Otherwise, Allplan creates a folder that is subordinate to the selected structural level.

Remove layouts/linked layouts/structural levels from the layout structure

1. Drag and drop the selected element out of the dialog box, select Clear assignment or Delete on the shortcut menu or press the DEL key.
2. To actually remove the element from the layout structure, click Yes at the confirmation prompt.
