Inserting more styles

Preparations to make after upgrade

New line styles and area styles are available for building and designing using existing structures. The associated drawing types are added automatically.

To integrate the new line styles and area styles

1. On the Tools menu, click Defaults.
2. Click Line styles, area styles, drawing types.

   Note: The You are modifying the line styles, area styles and drawing types in the office path message is displayed to remind you that any changes you make will alter the office standard and all projects that are associated with the office standard and that use the line styles, area styles and drawing types you are about to modify. Allplan only displays this message when the paths for the project are set to office.

   The Define, manage line styles, area styles, drawing types dialog box opens.

3. In the Line style settings area, click the New, manage... button.
4. Click in the Manage line style dialog box with the right mouse button and select Add more resources from default/office/project on the shortcut menu.
5. Select Standard for the Source folder.
6. Check the boxes in front of the line styles 308 and 309 and click OK.

   

   The new line styles and associated drawing types are added.

7. Click OK to confirm the Manage line style dialog box.

   Now you are back in the Define, manage line styles, area styles, drawing types dialog box.

8. In the Settings for area style area, click the New, manage... button.
9. Click in the Manage area style dialog box with the right mouse button and select Add more resources from default/office/project on the shortcut menu.
10. Check the box in front of area style 316 and click OK.

    

    The new area style and the associated drawing types are added.

11. Click OK to confirm the Manage area style dialog box.

    Now you are back in the Define, manage line styles, area styles, drawing types dialog box.

12. Click OK to confirm the Define, manage line styles, area styles, drawing types dialog box.

    Now you can select the new line styles and area styles in the office standard.
