Adding notes

Module(s): Detailing

You can use the Add Note tool to add a note to the current drawing.

You can select this tool only if you have selected the Show fileset structure option in the Settings of the Open on a project-specific basis: drawing files from fileset/building structure dialog box. In addition, you must be in a drawing open in the fileset structure.

To add a note to a fileset

1. Click Add Note (How).
   

   Activate Add Note in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Views, Details Detailing

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Detailing

2. Type the text in the dialog box.
3. Click OK to confirm your entry.

   The note for the fileset is saved.
