Open Window (Based on Center)

Module(s): Detailing

You can use the Open Window (Based on Center) tool to define a detailing window based on a center point and a corner.

To create a detailing window based on a center point

1. Click Open Window (Based on Center) (How).
   

   Activate Open Window (Based on Center) in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Views, Details Detailing

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Detailing

2. Set the parameters.
3. Define the region you want to view in detail by entering a center point and a corner.

   The detailing window is attached to the crosshairs.

4. Place the detailing window.
