Open Window (Based on Diagonal Points)

Module(s): Detailing

You can use the Open Window (Based on Diagonal Points) tool to define a detailing window by entering diagonally-opposite points.

To create a detailing window and then its region

1. Click Open Window (Based on Diagonal Points) (How).
   

   Activate Open Window (Based on Diagonal Points) in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Engineering Views, Details Detailing

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Detailing

2. Set the parameters.
3. Define the region you want to view in detail by entering two diagonally opposite points.

   The detailing window is attached to the crosshairs.

4. Place the detailing window.
