Finishing building alteration drawings

Now you have created all the as-built, demolition and new building objects you need. To finish the building alteration drawing, create labels and dimensions and assemble the layout as usual in Allplan.

Note: If there are holes in walls when you hide layers, select the Options - Components and architecture page - Miscellaneous area - Special button and enable the Components on hidden layers are not to interact with components on visible layers option.

Allplan provides two default drawing types for building alteration drawings:

• You can use the Building alteration drawing, black/white drawing type as the basis for detailed design as you can use specific hatching styles to display the materials used for new building, demolition and as-built objects (provided you have used the corresponding materials for walls and columns).
• The Building alteration drawing, color drawing type displays as-built, demolition and new building data in gray, yellow and red, respectively. As far as the level of detail is concerned, this drawing type is suitable for construction permits.
