Index

Different colors and graphical elements are used in building alteration drawings to indicate which parts of a building are retained (as-built), demolished (demolition) and added (new building).

As-built objects are often displayed in gray, demolition objects in yellow and new building objects in red. However, a black/white representation of demolition objects is also common practice.
