Converting an existing layout to as-built data

If the existing layout was created in Allplan, you can convert it to as-built data.

Important steps

1. Copy the original model to separate drawing files.

   Note: If you are working with the Allplan 2016 IBD CAD Data for Building Alteration package, use the corresponding drawing files in the Building model, as-built building structure node.

2. Use Conversion for Building Alteration Work to convert the layout to as-built data.
   • Set parameters for the element in the Conversion for Building Alteration Work dialog box.
   • Click to reset all the parameters to their defaults.
   • Click Match parameters and adopts the parameters of a suitable element in one of the building alteration wizards.
