Fillet

Several modules

You can use the Fillet tool to fillet two intersecting 2D or 3D elements.

Note: You can edit only 3D elements (lines, arcs, splines) that are in the same plane. They must not be parallel or warped.

Tip: You can use this tool to fillet 2D elements and architectural elements like slabs, panels, slab foundations, rooms and floor surfaces (architecture modules), plants and paths (Landscaping module), drawing symbol regulations' plots and areas (Urban Planning module).

To fillet elements

  1. Click Fillet (How).

Note: To shorten or lengthen the elements automatically, click Trimming in the input options.

  2. Click the first element.
  3. Click the second element.

Note: If you click the same 2D line twice, it is attached to the crosshairs and you can apply a fillet as you need.

  4. Move the crosshairs to the area you want to fillet.

A preview of the fillet is displayed.

  5. Specify the fillet in one of the following ways:
  6. Click one of the circles presented for selection.

Tip: If you enter 0 for the radius of 2D lines, the elements are shortened or lengthened as far as the point where they intersect.
